Mike and I are getting married next weekend. NEXT weekend. It's kind of blowing my mind?! But anyway, this is not the topic of this post.
A few months ago, as I was hunting down reception centerpieces that truly felt like us and flowed with our overall wedding day vibe, I stumbled across some deer antlers for sale on Ebay. I loved them and ordered them immediately, although I still had no clue as to how I was going to work these bad boys into the decor.
The solution I came up with was to wrap sections of the antlers as pops of colors and metallics since the rest of the centerpieces were going to be very neutral. I wanted them to just sit on the tables as funky little additions in a supporting role.
After wrapping about 25 antlers, I won't claim to be a professional, but I will say this is the easiest way to do it and it is fairly simple once you get into the groove.
